History

Why is it some people truly thrive in their work life, while others not? This is the question we set out to answer as part of a research project at Harvard over three years ago.

Too few people discover what they want to do.

The pattern we found isn't a lack of talent (there is tons) or opportunity (there are more types of options than ever before). Even in a severely down economy, the variety that exists is staggering.

We found most people never discover what they truly want to do. Too many people settle. That's a problem. Not only is there great cost to the individual, the same is true for their organizations, communities and the economy at large.

After the initial work in 2005, we set out full-time in 2007 to develop a comprehensive service for young professionals beginning right here in New York City.

Don't settle. Do what you love.
